The use of wax as an art form (known as encaustic art) dates back many centuries and was used in the making of religious icons across Europe. A few years ago, a re-surgance of this unusual craft has made available an array of beautiful coloured waxes to create unique artworks.

Recently, spiritually aware artists in Australia, discovered that during the process of applying the hot wax to white cardboard with an iron, those in spirit were able to project their energy and presence into the painting. A method of giving a spiritual reading for people from the paintings began to evolve.

As you can see from the samples on this page, many spirit faces, angels and animal totems miraculously appear. These are not drawn in, whatever appears is totally controlled by Spirit , I am just a channel and have learnt to “let go” while the guides control the flow of wax from the iron.
